I agree with the overtone of the article. I have found in my own life that the Book of James seems to straighten me out when I get puffed up.

Isn’t that the truth? I grew up in a church where this happened to one of the ministers. It was a very spiritually traumatic experience with those he’d been working with.
Church leaders must understand that when they fail in this way (which is simply unacceptable), they’re not just failing themselves and God – they’re wounding the Church.
Matt – I am finding out that you and I read more and more of the same stuff…
When we, the Bride, don’t practice discipline you can expect this kind of behavior.
