Martin Luther King Jr’s Last Speech

Hearing these words in light of being the day before his assassination is pretty eerie. I hope you had a day where you could reflect on where we have come from, where we are, and what possibilities lie ahead in racial reconciliation. For the complete transcript of this speech and its background see here.

I made a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day video that I think EVERYONE will enjoy. It’s really short, and should put a smile on your face.

Happy Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day everybody

    Copycat 😉

I went around all day Monday, and when I found myself alone, I frequently tried to mimic Dr. King by exclaiming, “MINE EEEEEYES have seen the GLO-ray of the comin’-of-the-Lord…” 😉

What a great speaker. What an excellent model. What a fine man.
