How much spam has Akismet blocked for you?

I just broke 14,000 spam emails blocked by Akismet. I am guessing that many of you get a lot more than that. I am always amazed at what people type to try to get their link on the blog. Most of it is computer generated like when I get a comment like, “that’s great” to a post on the Peterson murder. How many have you had blocked?

There’s a fair amount of evidence that Akismet also block those folks who Matt doesn’t like. Heck, there’s evidense that he’ll turn off your key as well.
Also there’s no method of whitelisting folks who get caught.
Sorry but Akismet will never appear again on a server or host that I host.
